 Pakistan refutes attacking Afghanistan; Kabul vows retaliation

The Taliban authorities said it would respond “at an due time.”Afghan authorities spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said Pakistan’s “hostile actions” reflected the “ongoing failures of Pakistan’s subject regime,” adding that defending Afghanistan’s airspace, territory and citizens was its “legitimate right.”
